About The Host

I have read many self-help books, biographies about famous people, and lots of entrepreneurial success stories in Black Enterprise and Essence magazines. I’ve attended Ilyana Vanzant’s seminars and I’ve listened to Les Brown. I’ve done everything, but take persistent action!

For many years (more than I care to share) I have wanted to create my own radio show, but never really followed through with any of my ideas to find out what I might have accomplished by now. Well, the desire is back and I’m doing something about it, again! (lol)

My son saw me buying more (emphasis on more) equipment that I needed to produce the radio show and said with a sigh, “Mom, I hope you’re gonna use it this time.” Ahhhh, children.

My purpose for creating this show, is to inspire others, who like myself, keep finding excuses not to follow their dreams and encourage them to go for it. It takes a lot of work, but I’m sure you’re used to working hard already, so why not do it for yourself?

The Time is Now. Don’t Procrastinate!

About the Show

If it’s only Tuesday and you ask your coworker, “Is it Friday yet?” THIS RADIO SHOW IS FOR YOU.

If you’ve run out of sick days and it’s only February, THIS RADIO SHOW IS FOR YOU.

If you have ever fantasized about “going postal” on the job, THIS RADIO SHOW IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU.

This radio show was created for anyone who feels that they no longer belong in “Corporate America.” For those of you enjoying a middle class lifestyle but are afraid to take that leap because you cannot afford to take a pay cut – this show was created with you in mind.

I hope that you will be encouraged to take action after listening to the stories of people, just like yourself, who were able to make the switch completely, or, who have taken major steps in that direction (i.e. started something on the side) to leave the 9 to 5 world behind.

So, Let’s Do This!

“However unhappy a person may be, the moment he knows the purpose of his life
a switch is turned and the light is on... If he has to strive after that purpose all his life,
he does not mind so long as he knows what the purpose is.
Ten such people have much greater power than a thousand people working from morning till evening not knowing the purpose of their life.”
